About Patient Surveys

Our Patients’ Experience

Our mission at McFarland Clinic is to provide our patients with the highest quality of healthcare and best experience. To accomplish this, we need to know what we are doing right and what needs improvement. Your feedback through completed surveys or direct communication with our Patient Relations team is very important to us.

Patient Surveys

We believe it is important to listen to the voices of our patients. After visiting a provider, a patient receives a text message and/or email link to a video survey. A patient will receive one survey per provider no more than once every 90 days.

Two questions are asked in the survey:

  1. On a scale of 0-10 with 10 being high, how likely are you to recommend the provider you saw to a family member or friend?
  2. On a scale of 0-10 with 10 being high, how likely are you to recommend McFarland Clinic to a family member or friend?

After rating each question, patients are encouraged to provide more detail about the experience through text, audio recording, or video recording.

Our Patient Experience Committee communicates survey results to our staff, recognizes successes, and addresses areas of concern. Department managers and providers receive reports for review and follow up.

Patient scores are calculated into a star rating to help visualize our providers performance. The star ratings are placed on the profile page of providers on the McFarland Clinic website. Patients will also see the number of surveys returned during a time period to formulate the star rating calculation.
